We are currently looking to hire a Baker for our York, PA location. Looking for a candidate to start immediately to fill a permanent position.

ABOUT THE JOB
The Baker manufactures various cake products in accordance with designated specifications; performs various job tasks of a repetitive nature in accordance with product type and production requirements; conforms to Good Manufacturing and Safety practices as outlined by company policy.
- Inspects pans for cleanliness and notifies supervisor when deficiencies are observed
- Palletizes pans as directed
- Monitors proper operation of pan greasing unit by maintaining proper grease levels
- Inspects pans for proper grease coverage
- Operates batter depositors and various continuous mixing systems
- Operates automatic oven loading equipment; loads and unloads oven manually as required
- Understands product specification and makes routine checks to verify equipment performance; adjusts equipment as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Experience)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic Math skills
- Must be able to read and write English
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate scanner gun
- Demonstrates manual dexterity
- Ability to perform repetitive motions on a regular basis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using both hands, frequent bending/stooping with occasional walking and lifting/moving up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work over 40 hours per week & 8 hours per day – ability to work overtime is required
- Must be able to stand for a full shift
- Must be able to work in a hot environment
- Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
