The Director of Master Data Governance reports to the Senior Vice President of Pricing & Revenue Management, and is located in Mansfield, MA.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a Director of Master Data Product to deliver and support accurate, secure, trusted, uniform master data for the enterprise. The curation and distribution of enterprise master data entities will power key analytical and operational use cases across the organization and is critical to ensuring an elevated level of quality and consistency across data platforms and internal data consumers.
To realize this vision and strategy, the Director of Master Data Product will need to develop, refine, and drive the roadmap of Master Data Management with stakeholders, functional areas and across TriMark’s division structure. The individual will work closely with other Data Platform teams to support the curation of all data assets to enable TriMark’s MDM strategy. The Product Owner for Master Data Management will work with key business leaders and IT leadership to strategize the vision and architecture for MDM.
The ideal candidates will have a customer-centric mindset and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to design and deliver exceptional Master Data outcomes. They will have 10+ years of experience in development & management of Master Data Management. They require excellent communication skills with proven experience in stakeholder engagement and working as part of a high-performing team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and refine the overall vision and roadmap for TriMark’s MDM platform
- Together with Leadership and other Data Product Owners, strategize and prioritize the delivery of Master Data Management initiatives and enhancements to support business-value focused outcomes
- Define an overall strategy and roadmap for MDM constituted by a set of initiatives with clear accountabilities, goals, and objectives
- Engage in continuous discovery to better understand, anticipate, and influence our broad customer needs, and use it to refine our MDM strategy
- Lead the validation and signoff process for the release of product deliverables as defined in the product roadmap
- Ensure sustainable delivery of customer value by the team on the agreed MDM roadmap
- Break down the roadmap initiatives into actionable segments, engaging customers as needed
- Track product performance & usability to inform future work
- Deliver on specific and measurable pre-aligned KPIs and key results
- Proactively identify and escalate risks and mitigation plans, along with key decisions, to relevant stakeholders
- Define and clearly communicate acceptance criteria for output based on business & customer needs
- Be customer-focused and dedicated to understanding, learning, and influencing customer needs and requirements
- Operate with a transparency mindset, communicating clearly and openly
- Be comfortable leading, directing, and empowering team members
- Work with ambiguous requirements and multi-disciplinary teams
- Coordinate work across multiple teams
- Influence stakeholders up to the senior levels of the organization

- Bring a data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day management and in making strategic trade-offs
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience in development & management of Master Data in a product owner role
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as Business, Finance or Computer Science
- Experience working on big data through Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, or similar software
- Experience with Agile and Six Sigma
- Ability to take complex data and provide a data and information solution to business users
- Solid understanding and experience of broad data topics and capabilities such as Governance and Analytics
- Exceptional communications and stakeholder management skills, able to bridge business-tech discussions and requirements
- Customer-focused and dedicated to understanding, learning, and influencing customer needs
- Experience and comfort leading, directing, and empowering team members; job will have direct reports
- This position is in Mansfield, MA; hybrid role of three days in the corporate office
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
