We are currently looking to hire a Material Handler for our York, PA location. Looking for a candidate to start immediately to fill a permanent position.

SHIFT: 2nd Shift (Approx. 2p-10:30p)

ABOUT THE JOB
The Material Handler performs warehouse duties with the utmost concern of supplying all materials to the main production facility while maintaining safety, inventory control, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate the pull of the master production pull sheets as directed in the pick sheet and wrap up any offsite warehouse requirements before the end of each shift.
- Unload trucks with products from co-packer or other facility.
- Inform management of any material issues.
- Work with the Warehouse Department Leads & Line Suppliers and update them on the progress, daily plan, and time frames of material flow.
- Insure that all material being used are reflected accurately in WMS (audit appropriately).
- Cycle count raw and finished goods when time allows or assistance as needed.
- Wrap up any offsite warehouse requirements.
- Keep scan rate report at or above 98% goal rate.
- Ensure products meet the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code by reporting to a leader, supervisor, or manager any instances or conditions that would negatively affect the products quality, food safety, or regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Experience)
- Three Years Warehouse/Shipping Experience
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Certified to Operate motorized material handling equipment
- Valid PA Driver’s License (CDL desired, but not required)
- Ability to drive, load, and unload straight truck
- Ability to move trailers in lot using jockey truck or equivalent
