JOB SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
United Dairymen of Arizona is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to evaluate, manage and optimize our network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will be responsible for writing project documentation, collaborating with project managers, and leading network infrastructure projects. You will work with Security Analysts, System Administrators, Cloud Engineers Engineers, and Help Desk technicians to design, maintain, and support our network infrastructure.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- You will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing network architecture to ensure reliability, performance, and security.
- Implement and maintain LANs, WANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Manage network security.
- Document network configuration and procedures
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team to ensure efficient operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
General Skills & Abilities needed to complete job successfully:
- Strong knowledge of network technology.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong knowledge of network security practices
- Strong knowledge of network access controls
- You are highly organized.
- You can communicate in a professional manner with all levels of employees.
- You love to work with others and document your process along the way.
Experience: (required)
- 4 years of experience managing a multisite network
- 2 years’ experience designing a network.
- Implementing and monitoring network monitoring tools
- Network access controls and permissions, including Active Directory
- possess current CISCO Certification
- experience with multi-state & multi-site networks
- experience and/or in-depth knowledge of designing a network from scratch and rolling it out company wide!
Experience: (preferred)
- 2 years of maintaining Cisco hardware
- 2 years’ experience with Cisco, Fortinet, SonicWall or WatchGuard Firewalls
- 2 years’ experience with manufacturing network
- 2 years working in a high security environment.
- experience working for a 1K+ employee based company
- experience working with HP networks
