The Organizational Change Manager reports to the Director of Program Management Office, and is located in San Diego, CA.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Organizational Change Manager will be responsible for all change management activities on a large Program implementing multiple business applications including ERP, CRM, CPQ, and eCommerce. This is a highly visible and critical initiative for TriMark.
The Organizational Change Manager will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, identifying potential gaps in job roles or organizational structures. Their primary responsibility will be creating and implementing a change management strategy and plan that maximizes the employee’s understanding and adoption of the new, with minimal resistance. The planned organizational changes, combined with an effective change management strategy and plan will drive faster adoption of the changes the employees are undergoing with minimal disruption to business results/outcomes.
The Organizational Change Manager will be responsible for managing the user training plan and ensuring that the organization is properly trained. The lead will also be responsible for user readiness, communication and adoption.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess the change impact – Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
- Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities – Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the organizational changes required.
- Support communication efforts – Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
- Support training efforts (if required) – Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
- Complete change management assessments
- Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance
- Consult and coach project teams
- Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
- Support and engage senior leaders
- Coach managers and supervisors
- Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities should the need be identified
- Coordinate efforts with other specialists
- Integrate change management activities into project plan
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness, manage stakeholders, and track & report issues
COMPETENCIES:
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent active listening skills
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrated work experience related to successful delivery of change management services including expertise in: stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, communication planning, training strategy design and organizational readiness
- Minimum 5 years Business Consulting experience, leading and owning work stream efforts within large scale projects/programs
- Minimum of 5 years of project management exposure / experience
- Experience with organizational transformation projects with ERP applications * JDE experience helpful.
- Ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, establishing goals and delivering against the objectives of assignments to meet time, budget and quality criteria.
- Demonstrates high aptitude for adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to develop and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with key stakeholders and ability to influence change through these relationships
- Proven facilitation experience at the executive level
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must be able to travel to support TriMark divisions across the USA
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
