Sales Support Representative

The Sales Support Representative reports to the Sales Manager, and is located in Denver, CO.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Support Representative supports the Sales team by providing clerical and coordination assistance to ensure outstanding customer service is provided to both internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Requests and obtains account information from the Account and Sales Dept. Completes data entry of sales orders and quotes into FACTS.
  • Responds to quote requests from sales dept by using Autoquotes.  Enters mark ups for projects into Autoquotes and checks system for accuracy.
  • Works with resources to resolve issues associated with lost orders and freight damage.
  • Manages the open order report to ensures all orders are processed timely and all orders are complete. Tracks shipping dates from factory to destination.  Keeps sales team aware of delays and any other related concerns.
  • Issues documents to the warehouse for receiving and shipping items for sales orders and contract projects.  Coordinates between the warehouse and outside vendors that shipping and receiving dates are accurate through to final destination
  • Data entry of sales orders and quotes
  • Data entry of receiving of purchase orders and obtaining inbound freight cost
  • Generates customer invoices by billing sales orders daily.
  • Research product request from sales department and customers.
  • Coordinates “Pack and Hold” smallware orders. (Large opening orders with 3-6 week lead time to fill the order 100% complete)
  • Works closely with purchasing department on securing needed products, backorders, and pack and holds.
  • Works closely with warehouse on researching product availability, shipping status, and pack and holds
  • Receive incoming calls from customers to service their needs.
  • Assists customers with “will call” orders.
  • Effective communication and collaboration between departments.
  • Presents oneself as a positive role model to internal and external contacts within the company. Acts with integrity.
  • Maintains confidentiality of project and customer information.
  • Completes all assigned tasks with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Keeps work area including desk, files, and work area clean and organized
  • Follows safe work practices at all times. Encourages fellow employees to do the same. 
  • Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures.
  • Fill in for receptionist during breaks or as needed

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • CFSP Certification a plus
  • 2+ years customer service experience
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check

Salary Description $30000 – 50000
