Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper/Utility Worker is now available in our Facilities Department. Our Facilities team takes great pride in making sure that the patient environment is sanitary, comfortable, and safe.
As a Housekeeper/Utility Worker, you will have a significant impact on the quality of care delivered at UP Health System – Portage. Assignments will include cleaning areas on the main campus as well as off-campus. Other infrequent duties include lawn care and snow removal, as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Two Years Institutional/Commercial Housekeeping Experience Preferred
Current MI Driver’s License Required
COVID Vaccination and Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required
Position Details:
1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)
Day Shift
Every other weekend
Cleaning ED, Pharmacy, MRI, Lab, Radiology, IPU
