Overview
.NET DEVELOPER (REMOTE)
ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a .NET Developer with experience in C#, VB .NET, ASP .NET, REST, APIs, and SQL Server. This is starting out as a six-month contract position with the strong potential to extend or convert to FTE. This .NET Developer position is 100% remote working eastern time zone business hours and a fantastic opportunity to join an established and well-respected organization that offers tremendous career growth opportunities.
Candidates must currently have permanent US work authorization. Third party / C2C candidates are not eligible for this role.

.NET Developer Essential Functions:
- Producing code using .NET languages (C#, VB .NET, ASP .NET)
- Upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems
- Providing technical support for web, desktop or mobile applications
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
.NET DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years of C# and .NET development in a professional work environment
- HS Diploma / GED required, bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics preferred
- Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
- Working experience with the ASP.NET framework and architectural styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Working experience with MS SQL Server
- High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with
- Flexible team player
- Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
