*Position Summary: *
Sovah Danville is seeking a full-time Radiology Assistant (Transporter) to perform tasks that assist the technologists in the completion of various radiologic procedures. Primary duties will be related to patient transport.
* Transports patients from one section of Radiology to another and from other areas of the Medical Center.
* Assists with cleaning of patient, if necessary.
* Observe patients awaiting radiographic procedures as well as patients waiting to return to their rooms.
* Report any suspected problems to the appropriate personnel.
* Assists with the transfer of patients from stretcher or wheelchair to and from x-ray table or treatment table.
* Maintains designated work area and equipment in a safe condition.
* Complies with organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
* Cleans transport equipment as needed.
* Monitors oxygen tanks for pressure and exchange tanks when necessary.

* High school diploma or equivalent required. If no HS Diploma, you have one year to obtain your GED.
