An exciting opportunity for a Housekeeper is now available in our Housekeeping Department. Our Housekeeping team takes great pride in making sure that the patient environment is sanitary, comfortable, and safe. As a Housekeeper, you will have a significant impact on the quality of care delivered at UP Health System – Portage. Assignments can include cleaning areas on the main campus as well as off campus.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Two Years Institutional/Commercial Housekeeping Experience Preferred
Current MI Driver’s License Required
Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required
Position Details:
0.7 FTE (part-time, 28 hours per week)
Primarily evening shifts with potential for some day shifts
Rotating weekends
Cleaning various facilities within the organization (onsite cleaning primarily the Clinics, Rehab and Kitchen)
