Overview
The Patient Care Tech, under the direction of a RN, performs basic patient care activities such as monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
PRN, work as needed. High School Diploma or GED; CNT licensure can be considered without HS Diploma or equivalent. Patient Care Tech education preferred. BLS required upon hire or must obtain within 90 days of employment. One year certified nurse tech or EMS experience preferred for current nursing student.
