We are seeking experienced and skilled laborers to join our team. As a skilled laborer, you will be Moving furniture, wrapping it in plastic, throwing away furniture and other stuff into dumpster. Will be assisting pipe-crew as well on site with some digging.
You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction, maintenance and repairs. You will work closely with our team of professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Perform a wide range of physical labor, including but not limited to: digging, lifting, carrying, and operating hand and power tools.
– Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your fellow team members.
– Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites, including loading and unloading materials and equipment.
– Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints to assist with project execution.
– Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth materials according to specifications.
– Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks as needed.
– Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts, excavators, and bulldozers, under the direction of a supervisor.
– Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and to the expected standards.
– Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Previous experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
– Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
– Proficient in using hand and power tools.
– Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical principles.
– Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.
– Physically fit and able to perform tasks that require heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
– Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
