**Job Summary**

Promotes and evangelizes the benefits and availability of data to the organization. Assists customers in finding the appropriate on-demand tool or gathering data requirements prior to assignment to the Report Developer team for report modification or new report build. Will assist with development of education resources and coordinate training to end-users. The Associate Data Navigator will help review incoming requests for triage. Helps to prepare and facilitate end-user education on currently available reports related to content and functionality (at-the-elbow” training). Assists with maintenance of Reporting Content guides and other educational material for operational leaders. Participates in go-live report training and touch bases. Stays up to date on reporting content in applicable software applications.

Must be able to write and verbally communicate in a legible and understandable manner and be comfortable with presenting information to others. Fluent in both group and in one-on-one environments. Knowledge of all reporting platforms and commonly used reports and articulate what the data represents. Can make timely decisions with leadership assistance when circumstances warrant. Possess the ability to deal effectively with personnel, regulatory agencies, and the general public. Works with other team members to collect and organizer detailed information as needed for various data requests and training initiatives.

Has the ability to work well with other members of the team and is willing to learn the data possibilities available with the adeptness to pull in senior team members or detailed subject matter experts when needed. Must work towards an understanding of Data Literacy principles. Will need to understand tools vs. content, Sanford’s Data Culture, and help to manage expectations and deliverables. Must have patience, enthusiasm, tact, a cheerful disposition as well as willingness and ability to handle difficult questions and situations. Seeks out new information and knowledge and be willing to embrace new responsibilities and change.

**Qualifications**

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Statistics or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related majors required.

Understanding of Healthcare analytics preferred. Previous experience working with Adult Learners also preferred but not required. Basic understanding of Data Literacy. Past experience commensurate with area of responsibility preferred.

EPIC Certification or Proficiency in specified application optional within the first year of employment.
