Overview
The Plant Ops Technician performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility.
Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, along or in collaboration with internal/external tradesperson.
Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.
Full-Time, 40 hours per week plus on-call rotation required. High School Diploma or GED required. Must have a valid TN drivers license and good driving record. Previous experience in hospital or industrial maintenance; five to ten years solid background in all phases of building maintenance (remodeling, demolition, new construction, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, pipefitting, plumbing, electrical, etc.) preferred.
