Overview
The role of the Orderly/Transporter is to perform various service-related activities in support of the unit including daily housekeeping of center facilities, supply ordering, stocking and transportation of patients and materials. The Orderly/Transporter functions in a multi-skilled environment which requires application of customer service skills, and limited patient related activities for patients aged infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric population. The Orderly/Transporter applies knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions and performs other related duties as assigned.
High school graduate or equivalent. Ability to speak, read, write and follow oral and directions.
