Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who can manage their daily accounting functions while upholding their organization’s values and vision.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records, processing accounts payable/receivable in real-time.
- Review and approve weekly accounts payable transactions for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and post general ledger entries.
- Track and report on the use of restricted funds and grants.
- Conduct month-end reconciliations and prepare financial statements.
- Develop and oversee the annual budget.
- Report to and collaborate with the Finance Committee, attending regular meetings.
- Manage the annual audit process.
- Maintain fixed asset records and oversee cash balances and banking relationships.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; nonprofit experience preferred.
- Proficiency with MIP accounting software.

Compensation: Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits
Hours: Full-time, onsite position, Monday to Friday.
