Overview
Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position ofLead Clinical CMAfor Starr Oncology. This job is permanent,full-time.
*Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following: *
* Under the supervision of physician or nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
* Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
* Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
* Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
* Responsible for maintaining communication from clinical manager to all clinical staff in practiceincluding staff huddles/meetings and email communications.
* Assist as needed in day-to-day functions of all other clinical employees in practice, including patient call backs, follow-up tasks in EMR, etc.
* Responsible for maintaining all clinical staff competencies and education
* If assigned to a specific provider, responsible for entering orders on behalf of the provider.

Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent: â–¡ Preferred X Required
Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program: X Preferred â–¡ Required
Required SkillsRequired Licensure(s):Current RMA / CMA / NCMA or CCMA Certification issued by the credentialing body of the AAMA / ARMAL/NHA; OR Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the State of TN or another compact state:â–¡ Preferred X RequiredCertifications:The below certifications will be required at the time of hire:X Basic Life Support (BLS)
