**Department Details**
Help support our six locations that are continuously growing and supporting our OBGYN patients. This position is location at Medical Building 3 and is Monday through Friday. Come join our fast-paced and exciting community of Womens!
**Job Summary**
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in patient access, including involvement in onboarding new hires, mentorship, and training. Ability to support all aspects of patient access functions and work in spaces with minimal supervision. Other qualities highly sought are confidence in project and change management with understanding of productivity measures. This individual should have excellent communication skills in verbal and written format. Proficiency in Microsoft programs to include Outlook, One Note, Teams, Excel is helpful.
Finally, candidate must have profound aspirations of growth and development to the potential of a patient access supervisor. Must be able to work independently without much supervision and accept accountability for individual tasks. Excels in customer service skills. Assists with new employee orientation and serves as a mentor. May provide oversight of work tasks and adjust staffing to ensure appropriate coverage due to absences or lack of float coverage. Assists with on-going department education and training. May develop training curriculum and materials to ensure that departmental training needs are met. May facilitate change and ensure adoption of new processes. Demonstrates analytical decision-making, information gathering, presentation, project management, group facilitation and training skills. May assist in managing productivity and department reports.
**Qualifications**
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Associate degree preferred.
Two years of One Chart or similar electronic medical records (EMR) experience required. Five years of customer service experience preferred. Previous healthcare experience required.
