Overview

TriStarr’s client, a locally owned and operated home builder in Leola, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic accounting team! This role offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while collaborating with vendors and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process vouchers, invoices, and accounts payable checks.
  • Audit freight bills and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable files and reports.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and negotiate terms when necessary.
  • Assist with account analysis, tax exemption certificates, and periodic closings.
  • Contribute to special projects as required.

Key Competencies:

  • Must be detail oriented and have high math proficiency.
  •  Must exhibit high ethical standards and professionalism.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel.
  • Knowledge of Navision is a plus.
  • Must possess sound interpersonal and communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

JOB TYPE: Temp-to-hire
HOURS: 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri
PAY RATE: $21-23/hr. depending on experience
DRESS CODE: Business casual
