2nd Shift TIG & MIG Shop Welder, Tampa

Job Title:      2nd Shift TIG & MIG Shop Welder

Report to:      Plant Supervisor

Job Summary:        
•    Work from sales orders and blueprints to complete weldments
•    Tig, Mig, or Stick Weld as directed to complete products
•    MUST BE ABLE TO TIG WELD and there will be a WELD TEST
•    Majority of the focus will be on quality Tig & MIG Welding
•    Training will be performed on the first shift for at least one month before moving to night shift.

Qualifications:
•    Quality driven and a result oriented focus
•    Experience in a Fab/manufacturing environment is a must
•    Tig, Mig, and Stick Welding background with fitting experience a must have.
•    Experience with Stainless Steel Welding is a must.
•    Brake Press, Sheer, or Rolling experience is highly beneficial
•    Proficient at reading all shop blueprints
•    Possess mathematical skills and the ability to work with drawing dimensions and tolerances
•    Ability to work in a non-airconditioned environment.
•    Ability to stand and work for up to 10 hours.
•    Ability to lift 50 lb.
•    Must adhere to all safety procedures.
•    Must wear all applicable PPE, including but not limited to steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear plugs.
•    Must have reliable transportation.
•    Must be able to pass a drug test.
•    Must be able to pass a national criminal background check.
Equipment Used:    forklift, brake press, sheer, plate roller, hydraulic press, welders
Position type:            temp long term
Pay rate:        Starting Pay $22-$24 per hour plus $1.00 2nd shift premium.
(Pay is based on ability and experience after WELD TEST on site)

Hours:          6:00 PM- 6:30AM M-Friday and 4PM – 10PM Saturday as needed
