Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Accounts Payable Specialist for our Accounting Department. This job is permanent, full time.

*Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:*
* Processes invoices and request payments.
* Data entry of all invoices
* Performs duties relating to departmental month end close
* Enter voided checks in Accounts payable system
* Work with various department on invoice approvals
* Process vendor set-ups
* Performs clerical duties of scanning month-end journal entries
* Performs SOX control review for chargemaster
* Set-up and revenue charge capture
*Minimum Education:*
High school diploma or equivalent:

*Minimum Work Experience*
Accounts Payable experience:
X Preferred â–¡ Required
*Required Skills:*
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
