**Department Details**

We are searching for an administrative assistant with a heart for helping people. Our department offers a flexible schedule within the hours of 8:00-4:30 M-F. This position will be dedicated to supporting the Spiritual Care Services staff of chaplains and the Director of the Department who oversees the chaplains and the Clinical Pastoral Education program and students. Our administrative assistant will work with chaplains, CPE students, local clergy, and interface with patients and families requesting spiritual care.

**Job Summary**

Providing administrative support and coordination of activities for the Spiritual Care and Clinical Pastoral Education Department. May include but not limited to answering telephone and email, taking messages and answering routine questions. Compose, type, and distribute meeting notes, routine correspondence, presentations, billing, reimbursement, or monthly reports. Maintaining vacation schedule and managing schedules for the department. Order and dispense supplies. May perform payroll functions, such as maintaining timekeeping information, processing and submitting to payroll. May maintain master copies of company policy and procedure manuals; keeping them up-to-date.

**Qualifications**

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Applicable experience preferred.

Based on facility needs, may require a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
