This unique RN position will support the Vivaz Medical Spa by completing the following tasks:
* Builds a rapport with the patient and explains the condition and course of action effectively.
* Provides direct service to internal or external customers.
* Delivers written and oral communications, responds to questions and concerns, and produces specific outcomes and impacts.
* Effectively delegates and supervises based on one’s state practice act and an understanding of the concepts of responsibility, authority, and accountability.
* Responsible for promoting a safe environment for patients, families, staff, residents, and visitors, and works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best outcomes for patients.
* Pursues continual learning to broaden functional area knowledge, skills, application and general business knowledge.
* Delivers timely, quality advice in specific business areas to satisfy stated client needs.
* Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution.
* Maintains cleanliness or sterilization of self and objects in order to prevent infections.
* Details the non-clinical services provided as a part of care coordination.
* Provides a patient’s relevant health information to physicians and overseeing practitioners.
**Job Summary**
The Aesthetic Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients related to cosmetic services provided. Responsible for functioning in a proactive, self-accountability environment and maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor at all times. The Aesthetic Nurse will be responsible for patient care as it relates to cosmetic services and the sale/marketing of retail products, supporting quality outcomes. Superior interpersonal, sales, and communication skills, strong attention to detail and a passion for providing outstanding patient-centered care as well as a growth mindset is required. Provides consultation to patients on cosmetic options, procedures and products. Performs some cosmetic procedures per provider direction. Follows treatment protocols and provides patient care. Works closely with other clinical staff to cross-sell treatments and products. Markets services and builds clientele.
**Qualifications**
Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
Aesthetics experience highly preferred. Sales and marketing experience preferred.
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications.
