Art Teacher

ARC Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Teacher to join our client’s team and contribute to the success of our students. As an Art Teacher, you will play a crucial role in inspiring critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic excellence in your students. Our client is a dynamic and expanding Charter School in Milwaukee committed to fostering academic excellence and creative thinking in students. We believe in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment that empowers students to achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to meet the goals and individual needs of each student.
- Create, manage, and participate in various professional development and orientation activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational goals.
- Utilize innovative teaching methods to make learning exciting and relevant for students.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
- Participate in school-wide events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, preferably with a focus on Elementary Education (grades 1-6).
- K-12 or Early Childhood to Adolescence Art license
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
