**Providence Health Plan is calling an Associate Customer Care Coordinator, Medicare Advantage, who will:**
+ Serve as a member of a service team that supports multiple regions and whose primary purpose is to provide Health Plan customers with outstanding, seamless service in a call center-based team environment
+ Be Responsible for the first line of communication with a variety of customers, including existing and potential members, providers, internal departments and employers
+ Provide detailed benefit quotes, eligibility and premium information on a broad portfolio of products
+ Assist members in selecting medical homes and primary care physicians
+ Educate members and providers in the appropriate use of health plan and clinic services
+ Research and respond to claims and authorization inquiries
+ Utilize knowledge of complex custom networks and resolve customer issues and concerns
**Please note the following important details regarding this role:**
+ Applicants for this role will need to have flexibility to work a shift between the hours of 8am – 8pm
+ During the months of October – March you will be required to have flexibility to work weekend days as a part of your work schedule
**We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following State:**
+ **Oregon**
**Required qualifications for this position include:**
+ 2+ years’ experience working in a high-pressure customer facing service environment with a proven track record of learning and applying complex concepts
**Preferred qualification for this position includes:**
+ Experience working with multi-line phone systems
+ Experience working in customer service within a high-volume call center environment
+ Experience working in customer service within a healthcare office environment (clinical, administration, back office, etc.)
+ Experience working in customer service with insurance
+ Bilingual: Fluent in both Spanish and English

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
