**Job Summary**
Uses strong working knowledge of business intelligence tools to create a culture of self-service. Collects and organizes detailed information and complex concepts for the development of tools and infrastructure that results in actionable information for the organization. Responsible for providing support for Data Pipeline implementation and monitoring. Helps others turn data into information and effectively prepares and presents information. Visionary that continually challenges the limits of data and analytics in healthcare and especially Sanford Health. Provide technical expertise and support for data-related issues. Partner with Sanford Technology Solutions to enhance functionality and performance of data systems. Elevate customer requirements and contribute to the development of structural necessities with the data architecture. Organize data within cloud storage and adhere to appropriate security measures.
Assemble and manage large, complex datasets that meet both non-functional and functional business requirements. Identify, design and implement internal process improvements to enhance scalability, optimize data delivery and automate manual processes. Responsible for creating and maintaining data pipelines, systems, applications, SAP Universes and data warehousing tools. Assist with complex uses of other reporting tools such as SAP Webi, Power BI, EPIC Data Models, and Cloud Solution. Responsibilities also include EPIC’s Data Warehouse.
Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple teams within the organization. Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Works with dimensional modeling and assists data virtualization team to bring disparate systems together in correlation with organizational priorities. Develops code for end users to assist in the automation of descriptive data.. Must have a strong background in database structure and SQL knowledge, including relevant experience.
Effectively communicates with engineers, product managers and analysts to understand data needs.
Continuously searches for opportunities of automating manual processes and developing on-demand tools for descriptive data.Organizes and prioritizes tasks effectively. Works extensively with multiple computer based applications. Seeks out new information and knowledge and embraces new responsibilities. Possesses patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, enthusiasm, as well as the willingness and ability to handle difficult situations. Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related majors.
Strong background in database structure required. Experience in SQL, R and Python preferred.
