**Description**
**Associate Pharmacy Technician at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a full-time position offering variable shifts, with rotating days, evenings, and weekends.**
**$5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.**
The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the Pyxis Profile System.

**Required qualifications:**
+ Upon hire: Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician Or
+ Upon hire: Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
+ Inpatient experience.
+ Experience with Pyxis, Pyxis CII Safe and Epic.
