Benefits and Payroll Specialist- Tax Withholdings 

Contract: 6 Months w/ Extension

Hybrid: 2 Days on-site (Tues / Thurs)

Local Candidates Preferred

Top Must-Have Skills:

  • 3-5 Years of In-depth State/ Federal Tax witholding experience
  • Exceptional HRIS experience, preferably with UKG/ UltiPro. (ADP or Workday) is acceptable

Requirements:

set with remote employees

  • Utilize UKG/Ultipro Systems experience is ideal but will consider other HRIS Systems such as ADP, Workday.
  • Pull HRIS reports to identify payroll and benefits trends and respond to management teams
  • Strong payroll and state tax experience, no less than 3-5 years of experience
  • Communicate and respond to associate and manage payroll-related questions
  • Partner with the business teams to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency in order to identify, develop and implement enhancements to process improvements 
  • Serve as a point of contact to resolve issues and answer questions specific to taxes, payroll and local benefit plans, third party tax advisor and global mobility hub.
  • Ensure computing, withholding, or deductions associated with net pay is done accurately
  • Process W-2s and amendments
  • Set-up new states for payroll processing 
  • Organize and review forms associated with federal, state, and local authorities
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
  • Implement tax and payroll updates

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or combination of relevant education and work experience
