Overview
Ed Perez – State Farm Agency, located in Katy, TX, has an immediate opening for a Bilingual Insurance Customer Service Representative. We are looking to hire an experienced property and casualty professional who is licensed, or would be willing to become licensed, for the role of Customer Service Representative.
As a State Farm team member, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, and life insurance. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Establish and develop customer relationships and follow up with customers
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance vailability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, claim submissions, and billing verification
- Become familiar with products, services, and systems
- Contribute to agency success through promoting new business, cross-selling, and new initiatives
- Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals
Requirements:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Property & Casualty and Life Insurance licenses (must be able to obtain)
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Good operational computing skill (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Internet Browsers)
- Work well with teammates to ensure seamless customer experience
- Confident self-starter who works well independently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong organizational skills
