At an advanced level, completes patient billing processes for assigned area.
Reports to: Market Director – Physician Practices
Patient billing processes to include charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, refunds, adjustments, denial follow-up, AR management, and reporting.

Manages commercial insurance, private pay and industrial accounts.

Answers billing questions taking into consideration allowable and Medicare guidelines.

Completes payment posting and creates bank deposits tracking EFT’s, ERA’s and payments made over the phone
*Minimum Education*
Associate’s degree in related field – Required
Will accept High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years clinical billing experience, in lieu of Associates degree

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) – Preferred

5 years clinic billing experience in one or more of the following specialties: Pediatrics, GI, Endoscopy, General & Vascular Surgery, OBGYN, Cardiology, Orthopaedics – Required.
