**Job Summary**
Business Analyst manages the business requirements for small and medium projects, or participates as part of a team on large or complex projects for a business function. Work independently with minimal direction on day-to-day work. Determine own methods and approaches when following established, standard processes and manage own work priorities and timelines for own work.
**This position is not a Data or Financial Analytics position. Works with business stakeholders to understand and analyze objectives, underlying issues and business case, and facilitate scoping and business prioritization.
Investigates business needs, problems, and opportunities consulting stakeholders as appropriate. Owns and manages functional and nonfunctional business requirements, ensuring traceability across stakeholders.
Analyzes requirements to ensure they are fit for purpose and adhere to business objectives and consistency, challenging positively as appropriate. Provides input to test analysts on (in particular non-functional) requirements to be covered in test case.
Duties include:
* Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
* Analyze business workflows to identify problems and opportunities, suggest appropriate IT solution to improve operations.
* Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows. Translate into clear and concise functional specifications for IT technical teams.
* Facilitate UAT test planning and execution, excellent communication skills.
* A strong Microsoft, RightFax and other productivity tools background (preferred but not required).
* Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive is preferred.
* Experience in Microsoft Implementations is preferred.
**Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in computer science, business or a related field.
