As Acxiom’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will be a key executive leader responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy to drive the company forward. The ideal CMO candidate will be a visionary and strategic thinker, who balances the need to drive results – revenue growth, increased market share and strength of brand presence. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will lead the marketing team and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve Acxiom’s strategic objectives.

What You Will Do:
+ Develop and articulate a clear marketing vision and strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business strategy.
+ Act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing brand, demand and marketing insights, guidance, and recommendations to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives.
+ Lead the continued design and build of Acxiom’s modern brand identity, while enhancing its visibility and positioning in the market.
+ Collaborate across product and solution teams to develop and execute effective product marketing strategies and ensure alignment between product messaging and overall brand positioning.
+ Drive and evangelize internal and external brand through various marketing initiatives, including online campaigns, social media, and content marketing
+ Be data-driven in all you do; Establish Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and focus on analyzing the performance of metrics to optimize strategies for maximum impact.
+ Lead your team in conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
+ Work closely with key external and internal stakeholders – partners, IPG and its agencies, Acxiom sales, product, and other teams to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
+ Be an inspirational leader, fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation within the Marketing team, inspiring others to follow you
+ Attract, retain, and mentor a high-performing marketing team.
What You Will Have:
+ BA Degree in Marketing or similar field
+ Proven experience as a CMO in a similarly sized company, developing and executing marketing strategies that advance with overall business objectives.
+ Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, and social media.
+ Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
+ Strong background in marketing and a history of fostering a culture of inclusion and excellence, including retaining and recruiting top talent, implementing best practices, and driving innovation.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
+ A track record of successfully leading teams through transformations and driving organizational change. Prior experience in transforming a brand story.
