Overview
The OB Clinical Coordinator is a Registered Nurse that provides direct and indirect patient care within the Women’s Services Department setting and coordinates care and planning with all disciplines of the OB team. He/she applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. The Registered Nurse must possess good communication skills and must be able to effectively communicate with physicians, peers, patients, and families. He/she works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to ensure quality car is delivered.
*Minimum Education*
Must possess a active RN license in the State of TN or hold a Compact State RN license with the intent to obtain a TN RN license within 30 days of hire
Must obtain BLS Certification within 90 days of hire.
Must obtain ACLS Certification within 90 days of hire
Must obtain PALS Certification within 90 days of hire
