Overview
Clinical Systems Analyst plans, designs, develops, performs and assigns analysis functions required to create new computer applications programs or install and implement software purchased from outside vendors. Reviews and analyzes existing applications programs as well as programs in development to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of those programs; reviews requests for program changes required to meet needs of HPHS system.

Plans, designs, develops, performs, and assigns analysis functions required to create new computer applications programs or install and implement software purchased from outside vendors.

Reviews and analyzes existing applications programs and programs in development to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of those programs; reviews requests for program changes required to meet needs of HPHS departments.

Conducts meetings with various HPHS employees to determine data processing requirements based on new project priorities and system needs.

Acts as Project Leader for design layout for programs required for special projects, as assigned by Director.

Write supporting documentation/procedures; develops testing plans; train/support end users.

Distributes Meditech passwords and enforces security by allowing correct access and collecting signed security statements.

Coordinates software upgrades by executing timelines with outside vendors and HPHS associates. Schedules the implementation, installation, training, and testing of the new program.

Attends various meetings and demos bringing forth information regarding the Meditech clinical/financial systems.

Provides the needed support of the Meditech system to the departments on daily tasks and routines.

Maintains various Meditech dictionaries to assure system integrity.

Oversees the installation and maintenance of system interfaces to assure accurate communication to and from Meditech

Updates and documents detailed information in Service Now on open calls and service requests

Monitors the patient portal application for new user requests and allows access if requirements are met.

Participates in on-call rotation schedule to include weekends, holidays and other necessary times.

Associates degree or High School diploma/GED along with equivalent work experience – Required
