Position Overview for the Cybersecurity Engineer:
Technologies include Security Analytical platforms, SIEM, other detection and incident response technologies. Looking for a well-rounded Security Engineer specializing in Linux with a background in Systems and Network infrastructure. This person will utilize PowerShell and Bash for scripting/analyzing log files.Â
Required Skills for the Cybersecurity Engineer:
- 5+ years of Security Engineering experience supporting Linux and Windows environmentsÂ
- Hands on experience with SIEM – Security information and event managementÂ
- Professional experience with scripting (Powershell, BASH, Python, etc)
- Experience Analyzing log files for suspicious activity and Event Data Analysis for suspicious activity
- Experience working with Data Extraction and Reporting
- Basic Security Certification (CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
