**Remote Data Analyst for Providence Office Park Portland**
**Full-Time/Day Shift**
This position provides data and analytical support for CORE’s research and evaluation projects, including managing data, creating analytic plans for research projects, generating reports, and performing statistical analysis.

We help gather, analyze, interpret, and use data and information for better decision-making and more effective programs and policies centered on local communities and beyond. As a Data Analyst, you will conduct analysis for health services research and program evaluations, construct and report on health care quality measures, and develop data collection tools like surveys and tracking systems. Responsibilities include managing participant samples, using statistical software for data analysis, and creating visual data representations. You will also collaborate with team members to meet grant requirements, provide technical support for research projects, and help inform data architecture to support project needs.
We are looking for individuals with experience in data management and statistical analyses, preferably using software such as SAS, SQL, Python, or R. Proficiency in data visualization tools like ggplot, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is also essential. Candidates should have experience in research and evaluation, including survey development and technical report writing. Working with large administrative datasets or electronic health records is a key aspect of the role. Excellent communication skills are needed to translate complex data into meaningful findings for decision-making. Familiarity with Medicaid programs, behavioral health treatment services, and social services is highly valued. Above all, a commitment to advancing health equity and addressing systemic health disparities is crucial for this position.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in social science, computer science, biological science, mathematics, statistics, epidemiology, or related field
+ 3 years Work experience in statistical analysis of data, including experience in a research or health care environment and experience with statistical modeling
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Master’s Degree
+ Experience performing geo-spatial analysis and experience in a research or health care environment
+ Experience designing, building, and managing database
