(This is an onsite position in Savannah, GA).
We have been engaged in a search for a Manager, Decision Support. In this role, the individual will:
- Manages the system’s Decision Support tools and processes, including management reporting, cost accounting and contract modeling.
- Uses financial, operational and clinical information to help understand patient costs and reimbursement across product lines, populations and contracts and drive critical financial, operational and clinical decision-making.
- Manages software systems, including all maintenance, data files and data sets, security, and all data feeds, projections, and reports.
- Oversees the development of detailed financial analyses including contract and service line profitability, cost containment initiatives, A/R analytics, physician-centered metrics, long-range financial analysis, forecasting, pro forma analysis, and business plan development.
- Helps develop staff via education and role modeling, providing growth opportunities and skill development.
- Co-manages development of annual operating and capital budget.
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
- Decision Support leadership and strategy.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Cost Accounting.
- Contract modeling.
- Forecasting.
- EPSi, Strata, or similar decision support system.
- Project Management preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
