Overview
Responsible for development and evaluation of the Plant Operations, Clinical Engineering and Safety/Security departments performance to the environment of care. Maintenance of the SRMC campus and Sumner Station campus Physical Plant including routine building maintenance and clinical equipment maintenance. Administration and development of plans to satisfy OSHA, NFPA, TJC, EPA and DOT rules and regulations, patient, employee and visitor safety/security.
Reports to: Assistant Administrator
*Minimum Education*
Bachelors degree in related field – Required
Associates degree in related field accepted with requirement to complete Bachelors degree within agreed upon timeframe.

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Have an understanding of use of force and be able to articulate when use of force would be appropriate. Experience with Firearms, Baton, Handcuff and Taser.

*Required Skills*
American Heart Association Heartsaver or BLS certification required to be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire.
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager – Preferred
Must complete Handle with Care and Defensive Tactics courses within 90 days of employment
Must have working knowledge of TJC, OSHA, NFPA, NEC, EPA and DOT rules and regulations
