*What you’ll do:*
As a*Director of Clinical Informatics Acute Systems*, you will lead a team to adopt clinical technology and electronic documentation at Lifepoint’s facilities, enhancing clinical processes, improving quality, productivity, satisfaction, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

*Responsibilities:*
* Direct team activities, including Process Leads and system support.
* Collaborate with vendors for implementation, contracting, and system functionality.
* Oversee training, implementation, and optimization of clinical data initiatives.
* Provide hands-on support for system adoption and clinician workflow.
* Engage with hospitals to ensure effective clinical processes and system functionality.
* Lead system-related activities, including quality and MU requirements, and manage enhancement requests.
* Assess patient data automation readiness at assigned facilities.
* Lead point-of-care technology activities at facilities.
* Prepare and present educational strategies using adult learning principles.
* Collaborate with the Director, Clinical Knowledge Management on order sets and documentation templates
* Provide feedback from clinicians to Operations and HITS leadership.
* Manage schedules and draft budget recommendations.
* Address issues and problem-solving related to clinician training and technology adoption.
* Liaise between facility staff, HITS leadership, and HSC teams for system adoption.
* Stay updated on informatics and EHR trends.
* Monitor adoption metrics and training outcomes for compliance with CMS and LifePoint guidelines.
*What you’ll need:*
* *Education:*Bachelor’s Degree, Nursing or Informatics preferred
* *Experience:*Minimum 7 years’ experience as a nurse in an acute care setting and with 3-5 years’ experience with Informatics and Systems implementation.
