**Description**
**The role is a remote role as long as the candidate lives within the Providence footprint. The current states we are unable to hire in are as follows: PA, NY, CO, OH, HI and MA.**
The Director of Digital Strategy will be principally responsible for executing the digital strategy efforts of the Digital and Innovation team at Providence Health and Services.
The Digital Innovation Group is a health innovation center within Providence that identifies the biggest problems in health care and enables technology breakthroughs that advance health and ease people’s way.

**Essential Qualifications:**
Lead the development of business cases for solving priority clinical and organizational problems with digital solutions; apply these findings to new solution development or vendor selection processes
Build and manage a robust, repeatable internal practice around the execution of the Tech Cascade – the process by which Providence can identify, scope, and pursue digital solutions to organizational problems
Support product management teams in the development of new digital solutions and the creation of new companies
Develop business plans, business models, and pro-formas to support the commercialization and spinout of incubated solutions
Support business development opportunities and strategic partnerships, as needed.
Manage, as needed, special projects for the office of the Chief Digital Officer.
Support the Ventures team when investment exploration overlaps with internal business case development.
Stay current on the digital health landscape and identify new opportunities and growth strategies. Evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership and perspective where appropriate.
Ensure alignment throughout Digital, the Providence Ventures team, Marketing, the Providence Clinical Network, Population Health, IS, regional innovators, and all other key stakeholders regarding the goals and priorities of Providence’s digital innovation strategy.
**Job specific knowledge, skills and abilities:**
Strategic, creative, and hands on working in an agile/lean start-up culture within a large health system.
Demonstrated project management abilities, preferably managing cross-functional, non-hierarchical teams outside of a direct reporting structure.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with a variety of audiences including leadership, care team and technical support.
Able to establish strong team relationships and build trust and open communication with executives, managers, physicians, employees, patients and visitors.
Able to lead assessment, analysis, design, and decision of strategic issues using participative planning and decision-making processes.
Process information and adapt quickly to a changing healthcare environment.
Able to manage change, promote positive interpersonal relations, and an understanding of physician alignment techniques and programs.
Flexible leader committed to product and team success.
Data-driven decision-maker.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent educ/experience.
* 8 years of Healthcare strategy experience, preferably in a provider setting.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Coursework/Training: Analytical educational background, or demonstrated equivalent capabilities through work experience.
* Startup and/or digital health experience.
