Overview
Directs the department’s activities and resources to achieve departmental and organization objectives. Responsible for supervising, scheduling and coordinating activities of personnel performing various chemical, microscopic, serological and bacteriological tests to obtain data for diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Directs and evaluates department operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Full-Time, Exempt Position! Bachelor Degree in Medical Lab Science required. Current TN Lab Supervisor Licensure, BLS required upon hire or must obtain within 90 days of employment. Six years experience in a clinical laboratory and two year of managerial experience preferred.
