Overview
We are seeking a Director of Design with a specialized focus on storytelling, pitch deck creation, infographic design, and playbook development for cloud and platform services. This role demands a blend of creative expertise and technical knowledge, particularly in the context of cloud technology and platform services. The ideal candidate will excel in visually communicating complex concepts, transforming technical information into compelling narratives and engaging visual aids.
*This role can be located almost anywhere in the U.S.
**What You Will Do:**
**Strategic Storytelling and Visual Communication:**
+ Lead the creation of visual narratives that articulate the value proposition of our cloud and platform services.
+ Design engaging, clear, and persuasive pitch decks that effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
**Infographic and Playbook Development:**
+ Develop infographics that simplify and visually represent complex data and processes related to cloud and platform services.
+ Create comprehensive playbooks that guide users through our services, emphasizing visual storytelling to enhance understanding and engagement.
**Design and Brand Alignment:**
+ Ensure all visual materials align with our brand guidelines and contribute to a consistent brand experience.
+ Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure design coherence and effectiveness in all storytelling and visual communication efforts.
**Innovation and Trends:**
+ Stay abreast of the latest trends in design and technology, particularly within cloud services and platform technology.
+ Continuously innovate and evolve our visual storytelling techniques to maintain engagement and relevance.
**What You Wil Have:**
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communication Design, or a related field.
+ 8+ years of experience in design, with a strong portfolio in storytelling, pitch deck creation, and infographic design.
+ Proven experience in designing for cloud and platform services, with a strong understanding of the technical concepts involved.
+ Expertise in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma).
+ Strong leadership and project management skills.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
+ Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging visual stories.
