We are looking for an experienced Director of Oncology and Infusion to join our team. The ideal candidate has a Nursing background within Oncology and Infusion, strong leadership skills, and the determination to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
* Enhance the oncology and infusion services for our patients and staff.
* Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
* Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
* Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
* Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
* Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
* Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth. Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
* Maintain relationships with referring physicians.

A Day in the Life:
The infusion center manages oncology patient infusions along with other types of non-oncology infusions. The center also sees some nephrology patients.
About the team:
We have a team of five RNs and one patient care technician who are passionate about the care of their patients. They work well together supporting our oncologist & other area providers.
Basic Qualifications:
· RN Degree required
· Healthcare Management experience preferred
· Prior experience leading a clinical team
· Prior experience working within an infusion center
· Physician practice experience
· Basic Life Support Certification is required
