*POSITION SUMMARY:*
The Director of Paragon Revenue Cycle Systems identifies and prioritizes potential opportunities to im-prove Information Technology and Services (IT) quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness, while reducing waste and improving stakeholder satisfaction. The incumbent will partner with selected hospitals and health systems to align IT with and support strategic revenue cycle and tactical operational and technical initiatives. S/He will efficiently implement agreed-upon improvements in a timely and cost-effective manner while leveraging enterprise capacity, expertise, and scale to ensure revenue cycle IT functions and teams are closely aligned, efficiently operating, and effectively supporting end-users and key partners.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:* To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
* Leads the team; provides education, guidance, advice, and coaching/mentoring.
* Directs the work, projects and outcomes of project portfolio and support requirements of IT revenue cycle team.
* Provides strategic support to all projects within the Paragon environments including both direct EMR projects or integrated third party applications.
* Demonstrates a high level of technical ability to provide process improvements and ideas regarding risk prevention, detection, and correction.
* Supports hospital & HSC Paragon Revenue Cycle IT strategy, this includes working closely with the market CEO’s and CFO’s as well as with the Vice President – Revenue Cycle Operations, Supply Chain Operations and HIM Operations. Other executives across HSC, multiple markets and divisions as needed.
* Prepares operational and capital budgets, evaluates historical financial performance, generates financial goals for future achievement, budget vs actual evaluations.
* Actively participate in and lead facility IT Optimization Assessments including preparation, data and document review, on-site visit(s) and interviews, and assimilation of both objective and subjective (“soft”) information into a cohesive and coherent summary report. Leads agreed-upon change initiatives.
* Regular and reliable attendance.

*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:*The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
*Education*: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent applicable work experience
in Information Technology or related field.
*Experience*: 5 years leading and managing IT teams. Experience working with Paragon EMR a plus. Detailed understanding of revenue cycle processes, current challenges and future technical outlooks preferred.
