Overview
Responsible for routing stock items to designated inventory locations and non-stock items to the holding area where contents are verified and labeled with the correct delivery location. Incumbent is responsible for processing both manual and automated requisitions and computer generated picklists. Adhere to recommended inventory control procedures

Deliver supplies and equipment promptly to user departments as requested

Rotate stock each time a new shipment is received using the FIFO method

Verify accuracy of incoming shipments and receive correct quantities into SMART

Stock inventory shelves and verify that all chargeable supplies have procedure codes

Check for outdated supplies and rotate stock when restocking supply rooms

Assist in completing weekly cycle counts and verifying on-hand quantities

Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.

Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.

Provide daily assistance with general clean up duties in work area
*Minimum Education*
High school diploma or equivalent – Required
