**Description**
**Donor Engagement Program Manager – Onsite. We welcome residents in Lubbock, TX.**
This position is responsible for the execution of communications for Covenant Health Foundation to ensure donor retention, promote increased giving and support long-term relationships with local donors and community members. The program manager creates donor-centered communications related to Providence philanthropic opportunities, donor impact, local initiatives and other key messages for both external and internal audiences. This position also supports comprehensive and long-term strategy for donor engagement including individualized stewardship plans for high-level prospects and donors, stewardship reporting, and donor engagement materials that reflect the unique needs of various donor constituencies, online philanthropy presence, etc.

**Essential Functions**
+ Responsible for identifying, interviewing, writing and executing stories of donor impact and support told through a variety of channels including digital & print media, social media, etc.
+ Collaborate with foundation leadership to execute communications strategies that inform and inspire the community 1) to financially support and advance foundation strategic initiatives through philanthropic support and 2) understand the impact that donor support has on the health and wellbeing of the community we serve.
+ Serve as partner for gift officers to ensure they have appropriate tools to engage with donors, support for major and principal gift stewardship and stories to inspire donors at all levels to give.
+ Help maintain a consistent brand for foundations within the Providence family of organization while recognizing the need for local adjustments where appropriate.
+ Lead local partnership campaigns, including Champion for Children’s Campaign
+ Partner with annual giving team to ensure alignment of campaigns to local initiatives
+ Collaborate with several internal stakeholders including hospital leaders, program clinicians and leaders, local public relations and communication colleagues and others.
+ Support event communications in partnership with events team
+ Contribute to the Mission of Covenant Health.
**Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Collaborative and responsive team player
+ Ability to translate division strategies to local tactics in support of Covenant
+ Understanding of principles of fundraising cycle including identification, cultivation, solicitation, recognition and stewardship.
**Required qualification:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Marketing/Communications, Journalism, or Public/Media Relations.
+ 5 years Experience in health care marketing and communications including experience in a related field with like responsibilities.
**Preferred Required qualifications:**
+ Experience working in health care, medical, academia, or nonprofit setting
+ Experience writing for philanthropic projects, including cases for support, major gift proposals, impact stories, etc.
