This position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Oversees and performs a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures, including echo’s, stress echo’s, holter, & other procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Oversees and performs cardiac stress testing, EKG tracings, and various other cardiopulmonary duties in the Cardiopulmonary Department. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their service needs. Participates in CQI activities. Is responsible for patient safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements.

* KY board of respiratory care
* ARDMS License
* Basic Life Support (BLS) required one month from hire date
* NRP preferred
* ACLS preferred
* PALS preferred
