Essential Functions
• Coordinates and facilitates patient flow, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.• Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services• Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives• Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standard, policies and procedures• Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements, including accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission.• Staff and provider work schedules• Clinic operations and growth plans• Clinic financial operations
Job Requirements
Minimum EducationAssociate’s Degree Nursing (ADN), requiredBachelor’s Degree Nursing (BSN), preferred
Required SkillsRequires excellent customer service and critical thinking skills, detailed oriented with decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)BLS, ACLS, PALS instructor within 6 months of hire; TNCC and ENPC instructor within 2 years of hireLicense:Valid and current KY state RN licensureKentucky RN state licensure or compact licensure requiredPrefer National Certification in area of specialty or within 2 years of hire date
