**Salary Range:** $16.00 – 23.50
**Job Summary**
Performs electrocardiogram (EKG) so the physician is able to monitor to detect any abnormal heart rhythms. Assists physicians in emergency and routine responses to heart irregularities. Performs an electrocardiogram (EKG) to identify any abnormal variations in heart rhythms or rates. Recognizes emergency situations and informs physicians so immediate medical action can be taken. Records the heart’s electrical activities using an EKG machine and checks the quality of recorded material. Orders and stocks supplies as necessary. Prints an EKG report, detailing a patient’s cardiovascular condition, for physician interpretation and diagnosis.
12 hour shifts/ rotating every 3rd weekend (Fri-Sun). No set days.
**Qualifications**
High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) encouraged but not required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
