$25.00 to $28.00
1st Shift – 6:00am – 2:30pm 
 
Lead Marine has immediate openings for Marine/Navy Electrician Techs in the San Diego Naval Shipyard Industry. Must have navy repair/marine electrical or prior military electrical experience. Must be DBIDs Badge eligible to gain access to Naval Bases. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Understand basic Electrical and Electronic fundamentals.
  • Can perform connect and disconnect of electrical gear to include pumps, motors, and controllers.
  • Running cables, lines and leads, terminations/connector fabrication, packing of cable transits and harnessing cable aboard vessels.
  • Mid to Low voltage 220/440 equipment hook ups
  • Manage and ensure that daily required tasks are completed on time and in a safe manner.
  • Detect and locate grounds, open circuits and short circuits in distribution generators and systems. Maintain and repair telephones, circuits, and associated equipment.
  • Install new power and lighting circuits.
Requirements:  
  • Must have at least 4 years of electrical hook up, low voltage or cabling experience for Journeyman level.
  • Candidates must be able to read and comprehend instructions, drawings, prints, diagrams, schematics and other reports or printouts.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of equipment and work processes used in marine electrical repair and system installation.
